Hi, writing from the USA. Yours is the only site I've been able to find any potential solution to my new (to me) Cayenne S Hybrid.
2011 Cayenne S Hybrid
VIN: WP1AE2A2XCLA92429
88,000 MILES
I am getting a RED Hybrid system fault warning nearly every time I drive it. I changed the 12v battery under the seat, which helped for a day, but fault returned. I have an iCarsoft Porsche scanner, and got the following codes. I can get better, more comprehensive ones in a couple days, if necessary, but am traveling, so I thought I'd shoot this out for now. I'm wondering if the high voltage AC cable is the issue. If so, I want to confirm part # for my VIN, and is this a DIY job (marginally capable) or should I take it to indy mechanic. Thank you so much, in advance, for your help and this great site.
DT Codes pulled:
000601 - generator fault, electric
008301 - fan control overcurrent
C120AB - Check high-voltage air conditioner compressor control unit
U111300 - Check A/C control unit faulty memory content
For what it's worth, I'm also having some instrument cluster comm issues. Doubt it's all related, but I thought worth mentioning. For instance, the back up alert system is not functioning, nor are several of the functions of the CDR system.
Thanks again!
